Premier League giants, Chelsea have not made a move for AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain to replace struggling Alvaro Morata, according AC Milan sporting director.

Maurizio Sarri’s squad had lacked the finishing touch upfront as the Spain international has flopped since swapping Real Madrid for Stamford Bridge.

Therefore, Eden Hazard has been drafted into the center-forward position in the last four Premier League matches for the Blues.

And it is expected that the ex-Napoli boss should cash-in on a No.9 in the incoming January transfer window.

But according to AC Milan sporting director Leonard, 30-year-old Higuain, who is currently on a season-long loan from Juventus, is not on the agenda.

He said: “We haven’t received any offer from Chelsea – no one has asked us for him and he didn’t ask to leave.

“Anyway, at AC Milan we keep only the players who want to stay here.

“It is difficult to manage a striker when he doesn’t score.

“Higuain must find the real himself, he is living in a different situation for him, he left Juventus and he is here on loan.
