I have zero regrets and will continue to support Nigeria – Dethroned Emir Sanusi
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
SANUSI Sanusi, the deposed Emir of Kano, has pledged to keep sharing his opinions in order to protect and restore Nigeria.
Regardless of the roles he had played throughout his life, Sanusi felt that expressing regret about losing his position as the emir of Kano would be an affront to God.
This was said on Saturday in Abuja during a stage production called “Emir Sanusi: Truth in Time” by the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, who is also the current Khalifah of the Tijaniyat Movement of Nigeria.
Sanusi asserts that his extensive national service record qualifies him to contribute to the nation’s development.
God hasn’t taken anything away from me, in my opinion. I consequently don’t feel bad.
I had the honor of serving as chief risk officer at First Bank and United Bank for Africa in the year I turned 61.
“I have held positions as the emir of Kano, the governor of the national bank, and the Khalifah of the Tijaniyat Movement in Nigeria.
If I’m depressed, I must be ungrateful. How many individuals get the chance to be just one of those things? He looked.
“History is always the best judge,” he continued. Things that I had predicted would occur and that had given me such great pain did.
“I have no regrets, and I’ll keep speaking out and expressing my opinions. I’ll keep advocating for our nation.
