I hope it ends well – David de Gea update on new Man United contract
Manchester United Star, David de Gea hopes talks over a new contract at the club will “end in a good way”.
United have started talks over a renewal for De Gea, who will be technically out of contract in the summer, though United has the option of an additional year.
De Gea joined United in 2011 and has revealed his intention to spend the rest of his career at Old Trafford in the summer, and he is optimistic about extending his stay beyond 12 years.
“Yeah, I’m very relaxed. Just focus on training, and perform as best as I can. But, for sure, it’s going to end in a good way,” De Gea told the MEN.
De Gea maintained a clean sheet – his 177th – for United in the 3-0 defeat of Bournemouth
