I Suspected Why INEC Didn’t Upload Results, There Were Hackers Brought In By Political Parties-Enefe

The Deputy Contact Mobilisation, APC PCC and a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr Ekene Enefe, has claimed that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, was unable to transmit the presidential election results because there were hackers brought in by the opposition political parties to hack into INEC server, in order to transmit their own results.
Speaking further, Mr Enefe made it known that we Nigerians always jump into technology, forgetting the cyber security aspects of the same technology they want to use.
The APC Chieftain made this disclosure when he was interviewed on Arise Television on Monday Night.
Furthermore, he reminded Nigerians that two weeks after the conduct of the presidential election, the minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami came out and informed Nigerians that INEC server was attacked by hackers. He went on and stated it clearly that cyber security is important, but Nigerians always term to overlook it.
In addition, he also reminded Nigerians that the National Population Commission, has suspended the earlier scheduled population census, because their sever was attacked by hackers.
