The Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike, on Friday, 3rd March, has disclosed to his close allies and confidants in Ibadan, Oyo State, that President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has got no option than live up to his words of supporting him (Wike) to become President in 2027, should God be merciful and grant him safety of life and good health in government till that year, as agreed during their London meeting.
Wike had earlier denied ever having any deal with Bola Tinubu, but Saturday 25th February, 2023 National Assembly and Presidential elections came as a handy evidence, as the tough-talking Rivers Governor under the Peoples’ Democratic Party PDP, mobilised forces with APC in the State, to vote for the emergence of Tinubu as Winner.
