‘I’ll Stay True to The Ijaw Course’ – Bob Collins Vows as He Picks Nomination Form

TRACKING____Rt Hon Bob Collins Igetei has reiterated his commitment to staying true to the Ijaw course even as he picks up his nomination form for the position of National Secretary of the Ijaw Youth Council, in her forthcoming national elections.
Bob Collins who is the incumbent Deputy Speaker of the IYC Mobile Parliament in a brief speech after the purchase of his nomination form, assured Ijaw Nation of his undiluted and unwavering commitment to her progress.
The Diebiri-born development advocate emphatically enthused he would not be distracted by any means or move by ‘distractors’ as that will mean danger for what he stands for.
Bob Collins insists he will not accept any political appointment throughout is three years in office. That when such opportunities come, they will be recommended to Ijaw sons and daughter and not himself.
In his words;
“I vow to remain resolute and true to the course I believe in and stand for; the progress of Ijaw Nation.”
“Any attempt to distract my focus will be vehemently rejected by my person, including those who will offer political offices as baits to lure me out of the vision,” he said.
Speaking further, the Deputy Speaker highlighted his desire to ensure that all exiled sons of Ijaw Nation are declared free when he is elected into office.
“In collaboration with other executives, I will pursue the freedom of our brothers who have been exiled or made to appear as fugitives when elected and sworn into office,” he added.
Comrade Igetei further promised a stronger cohesion among elected officers in the incoming government of the Ijaw Youth Council, worldwide when elected.
