I’m Disappointed In INEC Chairman For Colluding With The Unrighteous To Perpetrate Evil-Rufai Alkali

According to Punch reports, it was reported that the New Nigeria Peoples Party has called for the cancellation of the results of the 2023 presidential election held on Saturday, February 25. It was also gathered according to reports that the party made the call on Wednesday at a press conference in Abuja, the Federal capital territory.
Recall that the INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, recently announced the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the winner of the presidential election, after polling the sum of 8,794,726 votes to defeat his major rivals, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
However, while reacting to the announcement, the national chairman of the NNPP, Rufai Alkali, claimed that the INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, had clearly proven himself to have worked with some callous politicians to fulfil their selfish aims during the course of collating the election results.
According to one of his statements, Rufai Alkali also said that “I am highly disappointed in the INEC chairman for colluding with the unrighteous to perpetrate evil.”
“The challenging issue of technical hitches during the upload of results was a deliberate action to frustrate the efforts of a rigging-free election.”
“To save our democracy and our country, the present election results must not be accepted by Nigerians and by all friends of Nigeria.”
“We are therefore calling for the immediate suspension of the announcement of results and the cancellation of the 2023 presidential election across the country.” “A new election should be conducted as soon as possible.” He said.
