I’m not your Christian saviour – Tems fires back at critics

Popular Nigerian music star, Temilade Openiyi, known professionally as Tems, has lambasted critics who believe she is living a wayward life.
Some fans had earlier asked the singer to start making good music and live a godly life that could be worthy of emulation.
But took to her Twitter handle on Tuesday night to say she was not into the music industry to uphold any belief.
She wrote, “I don’t know who needs to hear this but I am not your Christian saviour. I didn’t come here to uphold your beliefs about God.
“I will not fit into this box you try to put me in. I won’t satisfy you in that area please find the person that will. Or ask yourself why you care”
