Imo Is 100% PDP; APC and Labour Party Have No Chance -Ihedioha

Emeka Ihedioha, former governor of Imo State and chairman of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Council in the state, has predicted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will win big in the state.
Ihedioha stated that the PDP would defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Labour Party (LP) in 2023 during the inauguration of members of the Council at the party’s Secretariat in Owerri on Thursday.
According to the former governor who was removed by the Supreme Court, the state has been dominated by the PDP since 1999 and thus has a good chance of winning the 2023 general elections at all levels.
“We must be very clear about this,” Ihedioha said. First and foremost, we have all accepted the responsibility of marketing and campaigning for our presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. Imo State has consistently delivered nearly 100% PDP since 1999, and 2023 will not be an expectation.
“I urge all of us to return to our wards and local governments and get back to work.” Elections are not won in the Owerri party secretariat. To deliver our candidates, we must work hard, in unity, and together. Again, let us avoid bitterness and division.”
Earlier at the inauguration, Imo State PDP chairman Charles Ugwu, who inaugurated PCC members, urged members to work together to support Atiku Abubakar’s presidential ambition.
“We expect you to be dedicated so that our presidential candidate will be declared the winner,” he said. We also have 27 candidates for the House of Assembly, 10 candidates for the House of Representatives, and three candidates for the Senate. It is our collective responsibility to ensure that all of them are returned.”
