On Friday night, gunmen assassinated two security operatives from the South-Eastern security firm Ebube Agu.
Since then, the Ebonyi State Police Command has launched an investigation to find out what caused the tragedy.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Chris Anyanwu, stated this in a phone interview on Saturday in Abakaliki.
The two Ebube Agu personnel were murdered around 10 p.m. on Friday in the state’s Ebonyi Local Government Area, according to reports reaching the Command.
Anyanwu, on the other hand, revealed that the Command has launched an investigation to determine what caused the killings and to apprehend and prosecute those responsible for this heinous crime.
