Inauguration: Hon. Rodney Ambaiowei congratulate Diri, Lawrence.

The member representing Southern Ijaw Federal constituency Hon. Rodney E. Ambaiowei has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Sen. Douye Diri of Bayelsa state and his deputy Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, as they prepare to take the oath of office today for their second term as governor and deputy governor of Bayelsa State.

We look forward to the progress and development that will come under your leadership, and we are confident that Bayelsa State will continue to thrive under your guidance. Once again, congratulations to Governor Douye Diri and Deputy Governor Lawrence Ehurujakpo.

The Southern Ijaw born legislator in continuation of his felicitation note remarked that Diri’s first outing was worthwhile.

Adding that it was a tenure Bayelsans should be proud of regardless of the global economic downturn orchestrated by insecurity.

“I am hopeful that the next four years of our amiable Governor shall continue to bring forth good tidings and the best for Bayelsa People.

“Once again, thanking Bayelsans for giving him the mandate to be re-elected in office for accelerated development of our State.

“Without mincing words, it was a very resourceful four years. BayelsaState witnessed a massive development and growth in all facets.

Your excellency, my dear governor let me once again specially thank and appreciate you on behalf of the good, peace loving and God fearing people of Southern Ijaw Local government Area of Bayelsa for constructing Yenagoa-Oporoma-Ukubie road project. We have no doubt that in your second term the road will get to Ukubie and other communities in Southern Ijaw.

“May God’s guidance filled with wisdom and good health be with our dear Governor as he steers the ship of the State to greater glory”, Hon Rondy prayed.
