Int’l Footballer expresses gratitude to George Turnah for support, career growth

Robert Mizo, a prominent player for Al Hilal Saudi Football Club, has visited Barr. Alabh George Turnah to express his appreciation for the pivotal role he (Turnah) played in his footballing career.
Robert Mizo who visited Turnah at his residence in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, acknowledged that it was George Turnah Football Club that initially provided him with the visibility and opportunities necessary for his rise in the football world.
He recalled how his journey continued at Bayelsa United before making the leap to AlHilal SFC, attributing these opportunities to the strong foundation laid by Turnah.
Mizo emphasized the support and platform provided by George Turnah and how instrumental they were in his career development.
While expressing immense gratitude, Mizo noted that the encouragement and opportunities offered by Turnah were invaluable to his success.
“I will never forget the role that George Turnah played in my career. I am here today because of the strong support and guidance he provided,” he said.
In his response, Turnah expressed delight and pride at Mizo’s accomplishments.
According to Turnah, he had always believed in Mizo’s potential and was thrilled to see him achieve such success on an international stage.
He said, “It has been a pleasure to witness Robert’s journey. I always knew he had the talent and determination to make it far in football.”
He encouraged Mizo to continue striving for excellence, affirming that the sky is just the beginning for the young star.
Turnah also took the opportunity to highlight the current status and future plans of the George Turnah Football Club.
He revealed that GTFC is now more committed than ever to nurturing and developing football talent, particularly from Bayelsa State and other regions of Nigeria.
“Our mission is to continue raising football stars and providing them with the platform they need to excel,” Turnah declared.
Turnah offered words of encouragement to young aspiring footballers, using Mizo’s success as an inspirational example.
He urged them to remain persistent and optimistic, emphasizing that success is achievable with dedication and hard work.
“There is always light at the end of the tunnel,” Turnah assured the young players.
The high point of the event saw Robert Mizo presenting George Turnah with a branded shirt from his current club, AlHilal SFC, as a token of appreciation.
