IYC Condemns Military Attack on Fropa Community in Bayelsa State. (See Photos)

TRACKING_____The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide has angrily condemned in strong terms the attack on Fropa Community in Southern Ijaw Local Govt Area of Bayelsa State by men suspected to be Nigerian Army.
The IYC leadership by the Chairman Transition Committee Comr. Kennedy Olorogun, the speaker IYC 4th mobile parliament Rt. Hon. Digimie Pogonyo Eldred as well as the Secretary IYC transition committee Comr. Frank Akiefa said, this are trying times were there is serious hunger in the land as a result of the global pandemic (Covid-19), fishes in our coastal areas are dying due to oil spillage, upon that, the military is also unprofessionally attacking our communities.
Ijaw Youths further added, no matter the gravity of offence committed by anyone from Fropa Community which we are yet to know, does not warrant such uncivilized display by the Nigeria military noting, this cannot be seen in the North were insurgency is recorded on daily basis.
They further emphasized on putting to an end these menace of steady attack on Izons and urges Federal Govt to come to the aide of Fropa people whose houses has been burned down.
