IYC President warns Media handlers against speaking against men of God

The President of the Ijaw Youth Council has in a chat called on security agencies to nip in the board, the reckless random bloggers of gain sayers bent on tarnishing the images of highly revered and well placed clergy men cum societal men.
Deacon Peter Timothy Igbifa made this remark in a chat with our correspondence. The IYC President said the recent trend of dragging reputable persons on social media particularly men of God is unbecoming, it has turn to the business of the day and it is bad to a fault.
Igbifa noted that the recurrent social media attacks by Mureen Badejo and others on an illustrious son of the Ijaw nation, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto the general overseer of Mercy land is baseless, provocative and annoying, he calls on perpetrators to desist from such act of wickedness as Council no longer views it as a joke anymore following the additional Threat to life of Prophet Jeremiah by these conspirators.
He further called on policy makers to create sanctions and pass laws on false allegations without proofs, such should be given appropriate punishment according to the law.
I have taken a step further with an official petition to the IG of Police and others trusting that they will do the necessary investigations and needfuls less we seek for self help around our brother and father figure. This is a great servant of God who has employed more than 2,500 persons including Ijaws and someone will just wake up and target to pull him down? We won’t wait for you to succeed before we come to stand with him.
Stay away from distracting Prophet Jeremiah as you didn’t call him rather, allow the God who called him into this ministry handle him.
