JAMB fixes dates for UTME, DE, mock, other activities in 2023

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, on Tuesday fixed dates for its 2023 activities.
JAMB fixed January 14 to February 14 for the commencement of its Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, registration.
The board said the scheduled dates excluded the registration for Direct Entry, DE, application.
A statement by the board said the DE registration would be between February 20 to April 20, 2022.
The board also scheduled Thursday, March 16, 2023, for the conduct of its optional mock UTME.
JAMB further noted that prospective candidates would pay N1, 000 service charge to CBT centres.
The statement added: “Candidates are to note that they would be required to pay the sum of N1000 service charge for CBT centres for the conduct of mock examination at the point of registration so as to prevent a situation where candidates would indicate their interest to sit the mock-UTME leading the various centres to commit human and material resources only for them to stay away on the day of the examination.”
JAMB also fixed Saturday, April 29, for the conduct of the 2023 UTME, which is expected to end on Monday, May 12, 2023.
JAMB advises all prospective 2023 UTME candidates to create their profiles immediately
