JUST-IN; Governor Ganduje’s Son, Abba Loses House Of Reps Election In Kano

Abba Umar Ganduje, son of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, has lost the House of Representatives election held on Saturday.
He vied to represent Dawakin Tofa/Tofa/Rimingado Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
He polled 44,809 votes while Tijjani Abudlkadir Jobe, the candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) polled 52, 456 votes.
Earlier in February, Abba distributed point of sale (POS) machines to youths amid the scarcity of naira notes in the country following a Central Bank policy to redesign N200, N500 and N1,000 notes.
