JUST IN: Governor Makinde Appoints New Secretary to the State Government
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has appointed Professor Olanike Kudirat Adeyemo as Secretary to the State Government.
TrackNews Media reports that Adeyemo is a Professor at the Department of Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine, University of Ibadan.
She was born on July 17, 1970.
Adeyemo has served in various capacities at the University of Ibadan, including Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships). She was also the Head of the Oyo State COVID-19 Decontamination and Containment team.
In a statement on Monday morning, Governor Makinde announced Adeyemo’s appointment.
Adeyemo’s appointment is effective immediately.
