Just In: Shock As Friend Plucks Eyes Of 16yrs-old Boy Inside Bush

TrackNews Nigeria covers how one sixteen years old boy, identified as Uzairu Salisu of Kwanan Gulmanmu, belonging to Jahun Quarters in Bauchi State, was left in a pool of blood after one Ibrahim of Rafin Zurfi lured him into the bush and coercively took out his two eyes.

In a statement issued on Friday to confirm the incident by the Bauchi State Police Command, SP Ahmed Wakili, who is the Spokesperson, said it received a call from the Ward Head of Birshi, a suburb of Bauchi metropolis, Mohammed Lawa, that Salisu was found in a pool of blood and struggling to stay alive.

Wakili confirmed that a team of policemen led by the Divisional Police Officer of Yelwa moved to the scene of the crime and evacuated the victim to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital Bauchi (ATBUTH) where he is receiving treatment.

In his speech, detective investigation divulged that Ibrahim, whom he knew for some time, lured him to the bush for some works on his farm where he also used a cable to strangle him.

The statement featured the Commissioner of Police for the State, Umar Mamman Sanda, who promised to get to the whole details of the issue while ensuring that the culprit is brought to book to ensure as deterrent to others.
