JUST IN: Tinubu Hosts Okpebholo, APC govs at State House
President Bola Tinubu is hosting the Edo State governor-elect, Monday Okpebholo, at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
Okpebholo was ushered into the President’s office complex by the Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, and some of the governors elected on the platform of the party.
The PUNCH sighted the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Hope Uzodimma, (Imo), Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara), Mai Mala Buni (Yobe), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Usman Ododo (Kogi) and Dapo Abiodun, (Ogun).
Also attending the meeting are the Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, Adams Oshiomhole, and the Edo State Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu.
On Sunday the Independent National Electoral Commission had declared Okpebholo of the APC winner of last Saturday’s governorship election in Edo State.
