JUSTIN: KWASU VC is dead
The Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete, Prof Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi is dead.
Prof Akanbi died on Sunday evening. The cause of his death is still sketchy as at the time of filing the report.
But InsightMedia gathered that the Professor of law will be buried on Monday at his residence in Ilorin.
Akanbi, who is a senior advocate of Nigeria, was appointed as the Vice Chancellor of KWASU in 2020.
Akanbi joined the service of University of Ilorin as a lecturer 2 in the Department of Business law, faculty of law of the University. By dint of hard work and perseverance, he rose through the ranks and was appointed a Professor of Law in the Department of Business Law in October 2012.
