Kano Gov Places Commissioners on 6-Month Probation

In Kano, The state governor, Abba Yusuf, has urged his commissioners to sustain their dedication to work as those who perform below expectation would be pulled out.
TrackNews Media Reports as the Governor addressing the commissioners at a maiden executive council meeting on Wednesday, Yusuf said their permanent appointments are dependent on a six-month probation period.
He noted that a monitoring and evaluation team under his leadership will monitor the performances of the ministries adding that those who do well would be appreciated and those who underperform pulled out.
Recall that prior to their appointments as commissioners, Yusuf had directed the nominees, at the time, to declare their assets in compliance with the code of conduct rules.
Yusuf asked the officials to unite and deliver the state from the “mismanagement” of the Abdullahi Ganduje administration.
