Katsina: Police reacts to viral video of Officer killed with armoured tank during hunger protest

The Katsina State Police Command has dismissed the claims alleging that its officers were run over by a police water armoured tank.
This comes after a viral video of a police armored tank captured dispersing a sparse number of protesters participating against the ongoing #hunger protest in the state ‘ran over a policeman’.
The affected ‘policeman’, dressed in green uniform, wielding a weapon, was captured in a pool of blood, lying on the ground as onlookers surrounded him in an attempt to resuscitate him.
The X handler @DEGEO7 had captioned the video: “In the peak of unprofessionalism, a careless policeman killed his colleague and harmed civilians in Katsina.”
Reacting, the state police spokesperson, Aliyu on Saturday said the Nigeria Police Force does not have any record of such incident.
The Katsina police spokesperson said, “First of all, that is not a policeman from the way he is dressed, and we do not also have such a dress code in the police.
