KEBBI HOUSE ASSEMBLY SUSPENDS LAWMAKER OVER UNGUARDED UTTRANCE.
The Kebbi State House of Assembly has suspended the member representing Birnin Kebbi North at the State House of Assembly, Umar Hassan Namoroko.
A statement signed by the Clerk to the House, Suleiman Shamaki and made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi.
The statement indicated that, the House at its Executive Session held on Friday the 12th day of April, 2024, unanimously endorsed the suspension of Honourable Umar Hassan Namoroko over unguarded uttrances and instigation of some members against the leadership of the House.
The instigation by the Honourable member has caused disharmony between the executive and legislative in the state which is not acceptable by the House.
The suspension which is for the period of six months is with immediate effect.
