Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, reportedly storms Yahaya Bello’s Abuja residence amidst EFCC siege.
Though the EFCC operatives departed from Yahaya Bello’s residence on Benghazi Street, Wuse Zone 4, before the arrival of Ododo who later observed departing with his predecessor, Bello.
Since he left office as Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has been reportedly using the Governor’s lodge, in Kogi Government House, Lokoja, as a shield against any possible arrest by the EFCC.
According to the EFCC, Bello looted over N80billion from the state coffers within 2016-2024 as Governor.

Bello have been reportedly moving around with Gov. Ododo, his handpicked successor since leaving office.
Gov. Ododo took Bello to pay homage to Bola Tinubu during the Sallah holiday in Lagos and the visit was centered on securing President TINUBU assurance that the EFCC will not go after him.
After that visit, he checked into his residence located at Benghazi Street, Wuse Zone 4, thinking he has secured assurance that the antigraft agency will no longer go after him, but not knowing that the presidency has not reached out to the EFCC.
