Kwankwaso is surely coming to Kano when the time is ripe – Group

Hajiya Binta Spikin, a leading member of the Kwankwasiyya Movement in Kano, has broken the suspense and anxiety that following the defection of Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso from All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Vanguard reports.
TRACK NEWS gathered that Binta said Kwankwaso is surely coming to Kano, when the time is ripe and no one can stop that.
She expressed satisfaction with the supporters of Senator Kwankwaso, adding “we should sustain the tempo and ensure that PDP takes back the mantle of power in Kano in particular and Nigeria at large.”ng her counterpart, also declared that Senator Kwankwaso belongs to Kano and Kano belongs to him.
Her words: “Senator Kwankwaso is from Kano and belongs to Kano and Kano belongs to him.
“He is a bonafide citizen of the state. No one can stop him from entering Kano.” Senator Kwankwaso is seen as a major critic of the Kano State governor, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, who was Kwankwaso’s deputy when he was governor of the state.
TRACK NEWS previously reported that the Kano state police command warned former governor Rabiu Kwankwaso to shelve his planned visit to Kano over rising tension in the state.
Kwankwaso is scheduled to visit the state on January 30 for a political rally which incidentally falls on the same day Governor Umar Ganduje’s faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is also planning to hold a rally.
Rabiu Yusuf who is the commissioner of police in the state spoke on Friday, January 26, saying the former governor should shelve his visit. He said: “We advise Kwankwaso to shelve his much-proposed visit or the law will take it cause.
