Kwara: Gov Abdulrazaq makes fresh appointments

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has approved the appointments of board members for seven government parastatals in the state.
They are, the Kwara Road Maintenance Agency; Kwara Signage Agency; Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Programme, (RUWSSA); and Rural Electrification.
Others include College of Arabic and Islamic Studies, (CAILS); Kwara Environmental Agency, (KWEPA); and Arts and Culture.
A statement by the governor’s spokesman, Rafiu Ajakaye in Ilorin, said ” The governor approved the appointments based on recommendations from various stakeholders in the state.”
He added that many other board appointments are in the works.
