Lagos bakers will be trained by Yolanda Gampp

At the upcoming Bakers’ Seminar in Lagos, scheduled for September 5-7 at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites, top Nigerian bakers in Diaspora and bakers in Nigeria will facilitate sessions along with famous baker and cake designer Yolande Gampp from Toronto, Canada, who runs the well-liked YouTube Channel “How to cake it.”
This was mentioned at a briefing by Mrs. Ezinne Okonkwo, the CEO of Dew Drops Cakes and Convener of Dewdrops Uncut Learning.
The third edition’s theme is “Uncut Learning 3: The Craft Revamp,” which is a delightful fantasy.
The term “Uncut” signifies, in Okonkwo’s opinion, that the seminar “would cover a lot of activities, networking, learning and relearning. It provides a forum for both beginning and experienced bakers to acquire new skills.

She emphasized that the 2018 version would have training sessions with professionals in the baking industry.
The empowerment of five widowed bakers with N500,000 each will also be a part of the session. It’s all because some of our sponsors have gotten behind us, she remarked.
It serves as a forum for discussing problems confronting the sector.

This led to the creation of the inaugural award, known as the “Dewdrops Uncut Learning Best Tutor Award,” which spans Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones. There are now over 60 candidates up for vote. ”
Mrs. Tarela Okene, managing director of Dripple Cakes in Port-Harcourt, and a team member from Dewdrops Uncut Learning announced that a variety of tutors and teachers will be present to impart their wealth of knowledge.
Onome Wornu of Cakes ‘R’ Us said that although it has been difficult for bakers, many are re-strategizing to meet consumer demand. She was speaking about how bakers are coping with the surge in inputs and trying to adjust their existing business models in line with the new normal.
