Lagos police rescue two abandoned children on Third Mainland Bridge

Operatives of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command have rescued two children abandoned by their mother on the Third Mainland Bridge.
A statement posted on RRS official Facebook page said the operatives were on routine monitoring of the bridge on Friday evening, April 28, 2023, when they ran into the minors.
The children were identified as Chigozie Okonkwo and Bright Okonkwo, aged 10 and 9 years old.
Commander, Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi has directed that the children be immediately transferred to Adekunle Police station, Yaba, where investigation has commenced on the matter.
