LaLiga: Why Barcelona are 12 points clear of Real Madrid – Ancelotti

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has admitted that Barcelona have been more consistent than his team this season.
Ancelotti made these comments following a 2-1 defeat at the Nou Camp on Sunday.
The victory saw the Catalans move 12 points clear at the top of the LaLiga table.
Real took an early lead when Vinicius Jr’s cross was headed into his own net by Ronald Araujo.
Barcelona were level on the stroke of half-time through Sergi Roberto, before Franck Kessie netted an injury-time winner for Barcelona.
When asked how Real Madrid are so far behind in the title race, Ancelotti replied: “It’s simple, they’ve been more consistent than us this season.
“Our January let us down a lot, just after the World Cup. Now, we are doing well and I think we’ll finish the season well.
“We are now further behind than we were before the game, but we will give our all in every game over the rest of the season.”
