LATEST/ APC loses 2 Reps to PDP

ABUJA – The number of federal lawmakers on the platform of ruling All Progressives Congress, APC further depreciated, Wednesday, when two members of the House of Representatives announced their resignations from the party.The two lawmakers were Babatubde Kolawale, representing Akoko North East/West Federal Constituency of Ondo State and Mukaila Kazzim, representing Abeokuta North/Obafemi-Owode/ Odeda Federal Constituency of Ogun.
Reading their separate letters at the Wednesday, Speaker Yakubu Dogara announced that Kolawale defected to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, while Kazzim was yet to state his next political party.
The lawmakers cited irreconcilable issues relating to the party primaries as part of the reasons for their resignation and defection.
