League 1: Emmanuel Petit names those responsible for PSG’s woes

France legend, Emmanuel Petit has defended Brazil international Neymar after former PSG man, Jerome Rothen accused the world’s most expensive player of destabilizing the French champions.
According to Petit, the club’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting director, Luis Campos should be blamed for the Parisian club’s poor results.
Neymar has been regularly criticised by the French media for his lack of dedication and careless lifestyle.
Neymar left Barcelona for PSG in a €222 million transfer in 2017.
He has missed numerous matches, including important Champions League games due to injuries, frustrating his employers.
As per 10Sport, PSG are prepared to sell him this summer.
Rothen had told RMC that Neymar was to be blamed for the club’s misfortunes.
Petit said via Le10Sport, “He was PSG’s best player in the first part of the season.
“Mbappe was not transcendent, he did not have an exceptional season.
“In addition, he made the management face up to their responsibilities, but he is exonerated because the press is behind him.
“But for me, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and Luis Campos have been responsible for the Parisian fiasco for years, stop making us believe that it’s the players!”
