LG Polls: Bayelsa PDP Presents Party’s Flag to its chairmanship Candidates.
The Bayelsa State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has, on Friday, presented party’s flag to her chairmanship candidates from the Eight (8) Local Government Council Areas of the State.
Presenting the flag to the Candidates, State Chairman of PDP, Hon. Solomon Agwanana (JP) expressed profound appreciation to all party members for working tirelessly to give PDP resounding victory in all past election from 1999 to date; and expressed confidence that party members from accross the length and breath of the state will rise to the occasion to do same during the LG Council polls slated to hold on the 6th of April, 2024. He admonished the Chairmanship candidates and the various Campaign Councils to run an all-inclusive campaign exercise to ensure everyone is carried along.

Hon. Agwamana, Party Chairman equally thanked Caucus Chairmen and all other stakeholders in attendance for their support and solidarity, asking them to continue to work round the clock to deliver victory for all our Chairmanship, Vice and Councillorship candidates.
In his acceptance speech on behalf of the other Chairmanship candidates, Hon. David Alagoa, Nembe LGA flagbearer appreciated the party for the confidence reposed in them to fly the party’s flag in the forthcoming LG polls, assuring that they will not let the party down but rather do all in their power to raise the bar of human and infrastructural development in their various Council areas.
High point of the ceremony was the presentation of the party’s flag to the eight PDP Chairmanship candidates amidst colourful display of cultural dances and sing songs.
