March 18 polls: Zamfara CP meets security chiefs

Security agencies in Zamfara State have finalised strategies to ensure a peaceful governorship and House of Assembly elections, scheduled to hold on Saturday 18th March 2023.
Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Kolo Yusuf on Wednesday met with the heads of security agencies in his office and extensively discussed election security management ahead of the March 18th polls.
During the meeting, Yusuf and his counterparts resolved to improve and sustain the working synergy to ensure adequate security and safety of the state to provide a conducive environment for free, fair, credible and peaceful elections.
The commissioner of police, who gave assurances of security and safety for citizens before, during and after the election periods, urged members of the public to be law-abiding and at the same time warned troublemakers to desist from acts capable of causing a breach of public peace and security
