MECHANIC VILLAGE FIRE: SSG, Commissioner visits scene.

TRACKING____The Secretary to Bayelsa State Government, Rt. Hon. Konbowei Benson, accompanied by the Commissioner for Trade, Industry and Investment, Hon. Stanley Braboke, today paid a visit to the automobile market, popularly called “mechanic village” over the midnight fire that engulfed many shops, resulting in the destruction of goods worth millions of naira on the 7th of September, 2020.
After taking a walk round the affected areas, the SSG sympathized with the victims, and assured them that he would later meet with the leadership of the market to take inventory of damaged items, and forward same to His Excellency, Governor Douye Diri for consideration, and necessary action.
