Mercy Johnson excited as she bags actress of the year award (photo)
For many celebrities in Nigeria, the end of the year always proves a time when their hard work during the past months is usually rewarded both with awards and several accolades. This claim is proving true for Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson as she recently bagged an award of great esteem.
The actress who was recently acknowledged as looking beautiful and slim won an award as the actress of the year.
This award was given her by the Exquisite Lady of the Year (ELOY) organisers. The ceremony in which she was awarded the statuette was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lagos.
Mercy who was pretty excited about the award took to sharing a picture of the award as well as thanking the organisers for the recognition.
This she did in a caption that showed her heartfelt gratitude: “Thanks @eloyawards. I’m honored and humbled. And thanks to my incredible fans who I call my friends for bringing this Una deserve kiss and all God’s blessings.”
