Meshack is not my Aide- Ayakpo

YENAGOA_____The Personal Assistant to the lawmaker representing Ekeremor Constituency 2 in the Bayelsa state house of assembly Etolumor E. Henry has responded to the rumor making the rounds that his boss Hon. Wilson Ayakpo Dauyegha brutalized one of his aides.

Speaking, Etolumor said he wouldn’t have waisted his precious time to respond to frivolous stories but for the sake of the feeble minds and owing to the fact that it response is not given, it would be assumed to be the truth, he wishes to set the record straight.

Etolumor said the originator of the falsehood Meshack Bebenibo is not an aide to Hon Wilson but a family relative. According to the PA, the lawmaker has only 3 aides which are legislative aide 1 & 2, and Personal Assistant.

He went on to say that the lawmaker out of his magnanimous heart created a payroll for his followers which Meshack Bebenibo is a beneficiary.

He said “Meshack Bebenibo didn’t play any role in the election of my boss but was included against some persons. He was been paid 100k monthly as support to help him take care of his family. This is not an obligation of my boss but just a privelege. As a result of the economic burden necessitated by the covid 19 pandemic, Hon. Wilson gathered all his followers who are on his payroll and explained the need for slashing of their allowance to enable him reach out to those in his constituency who have been affected economically. Everyone accepted but to the shock of all, Meshack Bebenibo said his allowance shouldn’t be slashed.” The PA went on to say “This is the same Meshack who is just being helped by the legislator. Same Meshack who signed 2 months salaries of a fellow beneficiary Ebikome Ebikombowei and till date has not paid back. On that fateful day, an argument ensued between Meshack Bebenibo and other beneficiaries which the lawmaker calmed before Meshack left. It is therefore shocking to see in the media that he was brutalized by the lawmaker. How? When? Where? I believe in his bid to have a romance with some persons who are opposed to the lawmaker, he has taken his greed too far. Although my boss Hon. Wilson Ayakpo said he will pay Meshack for this November which is what he is entitled to, I challenge Meshack Bebenibo to show the world his letter of appointment since he said he is an aide to my boss. Honestly, legal actions would be taken against him if he goes anywhere to claim or impersonate as an aide to the Hon. Member.”

Etolumor went on to warn the public to look out for Meshack Bebenibo and his dubious antics of borrowing and never paying back. He said Meshack wants to use an escape route to curry sympathy because even 10months allowance cannot pay half of his debts as he is a bad debtor but one thing we will never accept is him playing a script written by opposition to tarnish the hard earned reputation of the Hon member.
