A heartbroken mother has appealed for help and prayers as her daughter remains among the students abducted during a recent school kidnapping incident in Oyo State.
The distraught woman recalled that she had dropped her daughter off at school and left for work, unaware that it would be the last time she would see her child.

According to her, she later received shocking news that armed kidnappers had attacked the school and abducted several students and teachers, including her daughter.
Speaking through tears, the mother said the uncertainty surrounding her daughter’s fate has left her devastated.
“I dropped my daughter at school that morning and went to work, never knowing that very day would be the last day of seeing my beautiful daughter. A few hours later, I received the most painful news a mother could ever hear—that kidnappers had attacked the school and taken away my little girl and her teachers,” she said.
She added that since the abduction, her daughter has remained in captivity, while the family continues to hope and pray for her safe return.
“Since then, my daughter has been in the forest, and I don’t know if she is safe or even alive. The pain is too much for me to bear. Every day I cry, pray, and hope for a miracle. God, please protect my child and bring her back home alive,” she pleaded.
The mother’s emotional appeal has sparked sympathy from members of the public, with many calling on security agencies to intensify efforts to secure the release of all the victims.
The Oyo school abduction has renewed concerns over the safety of students and educational institutions, as families of the kidnapped children continue to await positive news about their loved ones.
Authorities are yet to provide full details on ongoing rescue efforts, but residents and concerned Nigerians have continued to demand swift action to ensure the safe return of the abducted students and staff.
