NBA Yenagoa Congratulates Olumide Akpata And Other Newly Elected National Officers of The NBA For Emerging Victorious At The Just Concluded Polls

**Upbeat over National Exco making the Bar work for All
TRACKING___The Yenagoa Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association under the leadership of Mr. Felix Okorotie has congratulated Mr. Olumide Akpata for emerging victorious as the 30th President (-elect ) of the Nigerian Bar Association at the just concluded polls conducted electronically between 29th – 30th of July, 2020; urging him to demonstrate transformational leadership that will secure the future and make the Bar work for all.
The NBA Yenagoa in a Press Statement jointly signed by Mr. Felix Okorotie – Branch Chairman, Mr. Michael Ekadi – Branch Secretary and Nelson Abali, Esq. – Branch Publicity Secretary, on behalf of the Executive Committee and esteemed Members, also congratulated :
John Aikpokpo-Martins, Esq. – 1st National Vice President-elect;
Kazeem Adeyemo, Esq. – 2nd National Vice President-elect;
Joyce Oduah, Esq. – General Secretary-elect;
Uchenna Nwadialo, Esq. – Assistant General Secretary-elect;
Dr. Rapuluchukwu Nduka – National Publicity Secretary-elect;
Ferdinard Naza, Esq. – National Assistant Publicity Secretary-elect;
Olukunle Edun, Esq. – National Welfare Officer-elect;
Mercy Agada, Esq. – National Treasurer-elect and
Raphael Anagor, Esq. – National Financial Secretary
on their electoral victories, charging them to individually and collectively put in their best to deliver on their core mandates.
The NBA Yenagoa Branch while commending the Paul Usoro, SAN’s outgoing administration for adding value also hailed the Electoral Committee of the NBA for conducting a conclusive election.
The Statement equally congratulated an Esteemed Member of the NBA in the State, Mr. Yakemewerigha Christopher Opute, who was a General Secretary Candidate at the election, for his remarkable outing; calling on all those who were not returned elected to put the past behind and join hands with the new Leadership to re-invent the Bar.
The NBA Yenagoa Statement concluded with a commendation to all esteemed Members of the Nigerian Bar Association Yenagoa Branch for abiding by the laid down regulations on Campaigns and related issues in the course of the electioneering period.
