Nembe PDP caucus chairman endorses Obuebite for Brass-Nembe Federal House of Reps seat

Chairman of the Nembe Local Government Area caucus o2f the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Blessing Ipigansi Izagara, has endorsed Hon. Jonathan Obuebite in the race for the Brass-Nembe House of Representatives seat in the 2023 general elections.
Izagara made the endorsement over the weekend in Yenagoa when Obuebite met with delegates from the area to solicit their support in the forthcoming PDP delegate primaries slated to hold on the 22nd of May 2022.
The former commissioner for science and technology said obuebite has worked hard and stood strong for the party, adding that now is the time for the party to reciprocate his loyalty.
According to him, Ogbolomabiri has not produced a federal lawmaker in the House of Representatives since the seat was established 23 years ago, insisting that the Brass Local Government Area should concede the seat to Ogbolomabiri and Obuebite since he is the only aspirant from Nembe.
In his words, “All the aspirants are qualified but Obuebite has a fantastic profile, an Alumnus of Harvard University with a lot of legislative and executive experience.
“He has represented his people in the House of Assembly for eight years and become a Chief Whip. He was a former commissioner for information and later education with giant strides. He is versatile and very energetic and will comfortably win the general election for the party.
“I call on us all to support his candidature, owing to his hard work, dedication to the party and many of us now is the time for us to support him.”
