Nembe Stakeholders Meets With Governor Diri Over Election Massacre

TRACKING____ The people of Nembe today paid a courtesy call to the governor of Bayelsa State to discuss the pertinent issues that arise as a result of the November 13th, 2019 PDP rally at Nembe, that saw the massacre of many PDP supporters by some hoodlums believed to be APC faithfuls.The Nembe Stakeholders were coordinated to meet with the governor of Bayelsa State by Chief Hon. Ebi Ben Ololo, who is the member representing Nembe Constituency 1 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.The Nembe stakeholders meeting with the governor is timely in the sense that, a lot of persons are still aggrieved over the November 13th 2019 massacre of PDP supporters in Nembe who went for a rally only for them to be ambushed by some unscrupulous elements believed to be APC supporters.So far, the death toll of the November 13th, 2019 remain uncertain, but from observation it is believe the number rakes into tens of persons because some person were thrown into the river and the mangroves were they cannot be seen.The major Crux of the Nembe stakeholders meeting with the governor, is to proffer solution to the bereaved and aggrieved, who in one way or the other had lost someone or some properties during the November 13th, 2019 attack and massacre of PDP supporters in Nembe. A minute silent was observed for the departed PDP supporters who paid the ultimate prize with their lives for the love of the party.The governor also promised to carry along all persons related to the departed PDP supporters, while also assuring Bayelsans that a peace process will be put in place, to forestall future election violence in Nembe. The governor reiterates.
