Nengi donates food items to flood victims in Bayelsa

Former BBNaija Season 5 edition housemate, Nengi Hampson has donated a ‘token’ to the victims of flood in her home State of Bayelsa.
The reality TV star, who was appointed Senior Special Assistant to the Bayelsa Governor, Douye Diri, through her team visited some of the flood victims with food items like rice and other cooking condiments.
In the video clip which surfaced online, the spokesperson on behalf of her team spoke in Pidgin as she relayed the actress’ messages to the affected flood victims.
She said: “BBNaija Nengi, season 5, I know say some of una go don watch her for TV.
“She say make she come sympathise with the people over the natural disaster wey we dey face for our state. So she bring a token to give una. Na the message wey we come deliver for una again.”
While the victims expressed sincere gratitude to Nengi for her humanitarian gesture. They said: “Thank you, we love you.”
According to the Federal Government, more than 600 persons have died and over one million people rendered homeless in the 33 states affected by floods.
