Assassination attempt: activist Israeli Joe expresses his support for Apostle Suleman.

Comrade Israel Joe, a human rights activist, declared his support for Omega Fire Ministry General Overseer Apostle Johnson Suleman on Tuesday, following an assassination attempt on him.

In a statement signed and made available to journalists, Joe stated that the venom directed at Apostle Suleman cannot be directed at popular Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi.

He noted that Suleman is one of the few Christian voices opposing the current government.

“Regardless of his human flaws, I stand with him even as he accepts responsibility for the families of all victims killed in the assassination attempt.”

Joe recalled that several traditional leaders and politicians had escaped assassination, which the Nigerian government and citizens should take seriously. “As a Christian, I will always defend my faith and will never sit on the fence.”

“Alhaji Dr. Ado Abdullahi Bayero, the former Emir of Kano, escaped assassination on the 19th of January 2013, and his security guards were killed in the incident,” Joe says. Did we demand justice for the deceased victims?

“President Muhammadu Buhari escaped assassination with his bulletproof SUV on July 23, 2014, where approximately 82 people were killed; nobody called for his head or interrogated him about getting bulletproof cars for all of his personnel in his convoy.”

“Senator Ifeanyi Ubah recently escaped assassination with his bulletproof SUV on September 11th, 2022, where seven of his aides, including mobile policemen, were killed, but you thanked God he was alive because of the bulletproof vehicle he rode.”
