Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed reports,
A vibrant human rights activist and lawyer, called Femi Falana (SAN), has given an assurance that public university lecturers are now ready to give the unceasing ASUU strike a end.
Track News Nigeria reports that the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU decided to embark on the indefinite strike since February 14th, 2022 as a result of its discord with the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Recall that the leaders of ASUU had had uncountable meetings with the representatives of the government. However, they have not reached any point of useful resolution.
As seen in a Falana’s statement on Thursday, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria Falana claimed that the lecturers are more than ready to resume work but that the Federal Government should consider meeting their demands first.
