Delta State PDP Mourns Passing of First Lady’s Mother

ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has conveyed its heartfelt condolences on the demise of Madam Agnes Ayetoma Ataga, the mother of Her Excellency, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, the First Lady of Delta State and wife of Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, the State PDP Publicity Secretary, in a condolence message, extended the Party’s sympathy to the bereaved family of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the Ataga family from Evwreni community in Ughelli North Local Government Area, the maternal hometown of Deaconess (Mrs.) Oborevwori.

In their commiseration, the PDP expressed their unwavering support and solidarity with the grieving families. They fervently prayed for God Almighty to provide solace, comfort, and the strength to endure this irreplaceable loss.

“The loss of a loved one and a caring mother always tugs at the heartstrings, but we must find acceptance when God, the giver of life, permits it,” remarked Dr. Osuoza.

Addressing Governor Sheriff Oborevwori directly, the PDP assured him of their steadfast support during this time of sorrow. They concluded their message with a heartfelt prayer: “May the gentle soul of your dearly departed find eternal peace in the loving embrace of the Lord, Amen.”
