FLOODING: Amb. Igali Donates Food Items to Victims in Bayelsa.

In humanitarian support to flood victims in Bayelsa State who through the ravaging flood have lost so much livelihood, homes, and even loved ones,
The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing council, Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA Ambassador Godknows Baraladei Igali has donated food items to Eniwari and Oporoma Communities.
The food items donated include Rice, Garri, noodles, and others.
While delivering the food items, Ambassador Igali stated that this is his first phase of distribution and added that the items in form of palliative to internally displaced persons (IDPs) impacted by the devastating floods is his way of promoting a safe and healthy living amid the outbreak.
Ambassador Igali also used the medium to thank the Governor of Bayelsa State his Excellency, Senator Douye Diri for releasing funds and providing IDP camps for flood victims in the State.
He also thanked other individuals for supporting the state and called on International Community, the Federal Government, and donor agencies for more assistance in providing succor to flood victims in Bayelsa State to assist the government navigate through this difficult moment.
