FOBTOB re-elects Oyibo President, others

Members of the Food Beverage and Tobacco Senior Staff Association, FOBTOB, have re-elected the association’s President, Jimoh Oyibo, for a second term of three years.

Oyibo, an employee of Intercontinental Distillers who was first elected president in 2021, was re-elected by members of the association at FOBTOB’s 15th National Delegates’ Conference, NDC, held in Asaba, Delta State.

Similarly, Solomon Adebosin, Jumoke Oladimeji and Peter Iyeye, were elected Executive Secretary, Deputy Executive Secretary (Administration) and Deputy Executive Secretary (Accounts), respectively, from the National Secretariat.

A communiqué issued by the President and Executive Secretary of FOBTOB, Jimoh Oyibo and Solomon Adebosin at the end of the conference, said that Lanre Yusuf was elected Deputy President, while Bunmi Adesayo was elected National Women leader.

According to the communiqué, also elected are Solomon Makinde, National Treasurer; Patrick Sule, National Internal Auditor; Christopher Amadi, Vice-President, Eastern zone; Naziru Bichi, Vice-President Northern zone; Nwachukwu Oyeabor, Vice-President, Western zone and Obot Asuquo, Trustee, Eastern zone.
