Food Security- NDRBDA Boss Meets with Peremabiri Elders, Promised To Revive West African’s Biggest Rice Farm

In line with President Tinubu’s agenda on food security, the NDRBDA Boss, Hon. Prince Ebitimi Amgbare meets with elders from Peremabiri community and assured them of his readiness of reviving the West African’s Biggest Rice Farm located in Peremabiri.

The newly appointed Managing Director of the board said, going down to Peremabiri and Isampou, the handover note is here to guide us, that anyone who’s not ready to see the revival of the farm isn’t a friend but an enemy he added.

While the elders in the visit, Chief Boardman Otokolo, Adulphus Imgbi, Alpheus Wade, Fatima Solomon and Marlomo Bisimo congratulates the Chief Executive Officer/ Managing Director on his well deserved appointment by the President to man the afairs of the board as well as thanking him for his show of readiness to reform the Peremabiri rice farm and many others in the region, they also prayed for God’s wisdom upon him.

In more thankful speech, the Special Adviser on Youths to the NDRBDA Boss, Hon. Marcus Princhard also appreciates the Managing Director, Hon. Ebitimi Amgbare for the warm audience given to the people and elders as a symbol of respect to the community and Ijaw people.

The SA further note the fact that other MD’s had come and gone but was unable to do anything related to the farm. This is a welcomed development and we must ensure that your keen interest to develop the Niger Delta will not be thwarted.

The CEO/MD in a response ensures that, in two weeks interval his team will be visiting Peremabiri Rice farm and swing into action, stressing that one of the major Agenda of Mr. President is food security.
