The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has demanded the immediate and unconditional release of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is currently detained at the Department of State Services, DSS, headquarters in Abuja.

According to the pro-Biafra movement, the renewed demand is based on intelligence from various security agencies that terrorists are planning to attack targets in Abuja.

This comes just three days after a leaked memo from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, revealed that terrorists were planning coordinated attacks on major cities, including Abuja.

Abuja is no longer safe; release Nnamdi Kanu immediately, says IPOB.

IPOB boasts of its presence in over 100 countries and denies group factionalization.

The Cabal is preventing Buhari from releasing Nnamdi Kanu, according to Mbazulike Amechi.

Other security agencies also reported that the Islamic State West of Africa Province, ISWAP, and Boko Haram planned to attack Lagos, Kaduna, Kogi, Katsina, and Zamfara States, as well as Abuja.

As a result, the Federal Capital Territory ordered the closure of all private schools in Abuja earlier this week as a precautionary measure.

The Federal Ministry of Education has also ordered the immediate closure of one of its Unity Colleges, the Federal Government College Kwali, which is located in Abuja’s Kwali Area Council.

The decision was made in response to a reported terrorist attack in the Area Council on the neighboring Sheda Community.

The Abuja chapter of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools in Nigeria had also ordered that all private schools in Abuja close by Wednesday, July 27.

In a statement, the association stated that the directive came from the FCT Education secretariat.

“Dear school educators, instruction reaching me now from the Ag. Director DQA is that the FCT Education secretariat has directed that schools ensure that all examinations are completed by Wednesday, July 27, 2022, and that all students, including those in boarding, are allowed to go home for the holiday,” the statement said.

If anything bad happens to Kanu as a result of Nigeria’s refusal to release or relocate him from Abuja to a safer location, IPOB has warned of dire consequences.

According to a statement issued by IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, “the attention of the global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has been drawn to the sudden closure of all the Government public schools operating in Abuja because of terrorist threats to take over Abuja and the entire Nigeria; IPOB therefore demands the immediate release of the Indigenous People of Biafra’s leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, from the DSS dungeon

“We are reminding Nigeria and her security agencies that the world has mandated for the unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi KANU and the payment of appropriate compensation to him immediately because he committed no crime against Nigeria or her sovereignty.”

“The UN Group has warned that if anything bad happens to him, it will be disastrous for Nigeria, and IPOB is prepared to follow this order to the letter.”

“We urge the Fulani terrorists’ government in Nigeria to unconditionally release Mazi Nnamdi KANU before their planned jihad in Abuja.”

“We’re keeping an eye on them and the shenanigans they’re up to with their terrorist collaborators to take over the government.”

“IPOB is unconcerned or interested in the terrorists’ plan to overthrow the Nigerian government, which we have rejected; our primary concern is the safety of our leader.”

“As a result, we demand that the Nigerian government release the leader of IPOB immediately because he committed no crime, as claimed by the UN Rights group.”

“The closure of schools, businesses, and other activities in Nigeria as a result of Fulani terrorists’ threat to attack Abuja clearly demonstrates that Abuja is no longer a safe place for people to live.”

“As a result, we demand Mazi Nnamdi KANU’s unconditional release before anything happens to him.” We demand that the UN directives concerning Mazi Nnamdi KANU be implemented immediately and completely.

“Binta Nyako and her jurists should be aware that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s life is in danger while in DSS custody in Abuja.” Again, she should be aware that these terrorists attacked the Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna, the War Training College Jaji in Kaduna, the Kuje Prisons in Abuja, and other security facilities in Abuja, implying that the DSS facility is not immune to attack by these state-sponsored terrorists.

“The Nigerian government and its compromised security agencies must recognize that the threat is coming from their own brothers, whom they have groomed to ravage and pillage the country.”

IPOB warned that treacherous Igbo politicians who conspired with the Federal Government to destroy Igbo land for selfish reasons would have no place to hide, urging them to make peace now before it is too late.

“We pity Igbo leaders and politicians who committed crimes in Igboland and fled to Abuja thinking nothing would happen.”

“The narratives have changed, and they will flee to Lagos, but Lagos will not be safe for them; they will return home soon and answer questions, unless they flee abroad.”

“One day, all the evil and murderous politicians from BIAFRA land will be held accountable, and only the good ones will walk free.”

“This is an opportunity to make peace with your people because danger is approaching Nigeria, and the country is on the verge of collapse.”
