Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

On Friday, there was tension along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway after a police officer’s bullet allegedly struck an Okada rider.
The situation is still sketchy at the time of filing this report.

According to a Federal Road Safety Corps official who spoke to Punch on the condition of anonymity, the police officer accidentally fired a shot while the biker was dragging a rifle with the security operatives.

“The shot hit the bike man on the leg,” an FRSC official said. As a result, the rider’s enraged colleagues pursued the cop, who fled to the Julius Berger yard beside the road.
