Man Who Lead Campaign Against Late Akeredolu When Hospitalized Is Dead

The State Chairman of the Ondo State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Fatai Adams, has reportedly died, SaharaReporters could confirm.

Even though the family source has not disclosed the cause of his death, the Ondo State Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Kennedy Peretei, has confirmed Fatai’s exit.

The Publicity Secretary of the party, Peretei while confirming the demise of Fatai said the party will make an official statement soon.

Peretei said, “Yes it is true but we will soon communicate with you properly on the incident.”
He told the journalists that Fatai reportedly died in the early out of Wednesday, February 14th, 2024.

Peretei was in January 2024 suspended as the State Chairman of PDP in Ondo State by the State Working Committee for anti-party activities.

Late Fatai Adams was a major player in the call for the resignation of the late former Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu when the former Governor was recuperating at his Ibadan private residence.
Fatai was fingered in connivance with the current Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the battle against the late former Governor Akeredolu.

Fatai appeared on many radio stations across the Southwest to launch a media war against the late former Governor who was said to be battling life life-threatening disease and later was defeated by the ailment.

Fatai’s romance with Ondo State’s current Governor Aiyedatiwa before and after Aiyedatiwa was Inaugurated as Governor of Ondo State following the death of his boss, Akeredolu, instituted his suspension as PDP Chairman in the state.
